Erica graduated from Aurora University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Disability Studies and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a specialization in addictions counseling. She has experience working with the homeless, addictions counseling, probation and community mental health.

Erica’s primary clinical focus is working with children, adolescents and young adults. She has experience working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, mood disorders and other life stressors.

Erica uses a combination of client centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. When working with children, she incorporates play therapy. She believes in the importance of a healthy family dynamic and providing children and adolescents with a safe space to process their concerns.

Erica loves to read, garden and go shopping during her free time. She strongly advocates for her clients to make self-care an essential part of their everyday life and tries to model this value in her own life.
